A working copy of Painter 2016 or greater is required. Remember that you can download a 30-day trial version of the software to use for this class at Corel.com
Every course will state the skill level required. If you feel that you fall somewhere in between beginner and intermediate user, please feel free to contact me so we can discuss if the course will be a good fit for you.
Software Requirements
Microsoft® Windows® 7 or 8, or Apple® Mac OS® X operating system or greater
Corel® Painter™ 2016 or greater
Adobe® Reader or equivalent software for reading lessons. Lessons are written in PDF Format.
We suggest VLC for viewing your videos, VLC is available for MAC and PC-Download VLC
Hardware Requirements
A computer capable of running Corel® Painter™ X3, i.e., 4 GB of RAM or better
A pressure sensitive graphics tablet, such as those made by Wacom
For live session webinars it is helpful to have a headset with a microphone so you can participate in discussions if you so choose.
